Top Box for Top Trainer

We are proud to have built a second JSW Ryedale racehorse transport box for Top Race Horse Trainer Mark Johnston Racing recently. This fantastic 7-stalled horsebox has been specifically built to the requirements of the travelling team and built onto a brand new Mercedes Atego.

Built in aluminium planking this eliminates delamination of GRP and has a superior strength than the plywood inner cored material ensuring that the box can carry not only the weight of the herringbone stall partitions but robust to withstand the daily onslaught of bloodstock……..

With ‘type approved’ seating for travelling staff too, this box was built with Government full type approval whereas many UK horsebox manufacturers don’t understand the current day legislations to comply with and are still converting bread vans with the purchaser unaware of what they are getting.

We have even seen some companies stating their bulkhead walls are type approved on 3.5ton horseboxes lorries where there is no such thing, to simply get round the ‘Chop and Shut’ parcel van converters. Be fully aware as there are many 5minute manufacturers now promoting themselves as well established horsebox builders. We see them all come and go!
