Specialist Trailers – Various Specification:  Guildford Police struggled to find a special display trailer and JSW gained this contract on merit of making their purchase a simplified programme. North Yorkshire County Council, our local council, required a special trailer to act as a performing platform for children’s activities with disability access, which we manufactured according to their needs and specification.

For recreational display trailers to hospitality, exhibition to road show trailers, we have commissioned units such as a special advertising illuminated trailer for top advertising agency Rathbone Media, built to their brief with constant supply of lighting and rotational banners promoting Blue Chip companies…. the list goes.

When working on a trailer or unit for a client, our process is to meet the brief whilst adding suggestions and innovations from our experienced team.IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT  TRAILERS BUILT AFTER 2012:Since late 2012, all trailers manufactured have to comply with the latest European regulations and have to be inspected by the VCA and granted European Whole Vehicle Type Approval. A Certificate of Conformity is supplied with every new trailer to permit registration in all European countries. As yet, registration is not required in the UK but eventually ALL trailers will need to be Tested (MOT’d) and serviced annually to comply with road safety. Please now be aware that trailer manufacturers who are not registered are not permitted to make and/or sell trailers without this certification and type approval.

Today, since the semi-retirement of Mr Watkinson Jnr, we finished building our own boxes, but bring you the Overlander 3.5ton Horsebox as it is curretly the only small horsebox built to JSW's usual quality standards.
